Hand dyed & Woven Indigo Blue Wool Tapestry

This unique indigo blue wool tapestry is hand-dyed and woven by Debbie Rudolph in her Falmouth studio. Debbie uses techniques informed by her extensive training in textiles, including study at Central Saint Martins School of Art, to create striking, tactile pieces for the home.

The wool is naturally dyed using a 123 Indigo fructose Vat method, a sustainable approach that aligns with her use of locally sourced and repurposed yarns.

Working on a Glimakra Countermarsch Loom, Debbie translates her sketches and photographs into textiles. This results in visually exciting textiles that blend traditional techniques with a contemporary feel.
