Devon and Cornwall Locks

This tapestry has been woven using handspun fibres and horse hair. The locks have been woven into the surface, creating a farm-to-fabric tactile textile. There is a range of natural tones from soft creams to rich earthy browns.

The tapestry has been woven by me in my Falmouth studio, using traditional skills. Working on a Glimakra Countermarch floor Loom, I translate my sketches into textiles.
