Ebb and Flo Handwoven Tapestry

Hand-woven Tapestry
This beautiful hand-woven tapestry, part of Debbie's "Ebb and Flo" series, is handcrafted in her Textile Studio in Falmouth.

The work is deeply inspired by the Cornish coastline, its stunning beaches, and rich flora and fauna. The title "Ebb and Flo" directly references the rhythmic movement of the tides, a constant and defining feature of the local environment.

Using the inherent grid and lines of the weaving process, the beach in her work is often depicted as waves of valleys and shallow pools, beautifully reflecting the light and the sea as the water recedes and returns.
